Austin Beardmore Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Austin was admited into the hospital last week with suspected pneumonia.  A few days later, (December 3rd) we received a call from his Dad saying that Austin was having trouble breathing and as the hospital staff were attempting to insert a breathing tube,  his vitals dropped so low that they almost lost him.  He was later transported to Baylor in Dallas where he could be put on a machine that would oxygenate his blood for him.

The diagnosis now is that Austin has a rare lung infection of which the origin has not yet been determined.  The doctors are not able to treat it effectively until they can identify it.   In the meantime Austin remains sedated and on a breathing machine.

The best case scenario would be that if they are able to successfully treat the infection, Austin will still have a long road to recovery in order to rehablitate the damaged tissue in his lungs.

We can only imagine the heartache this family is going through and along with our support and prayers, I felt like this was the best way we could come together as a community and do something to help them in their time of need and to help ease the financial burden.

Austin is 17 years old, a Junior at Lake Ridge Highschool in Mansfield and works as a life guard at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium.
