ATX Community Yoga Truck

My name is Julia Marie Lopez founder of juliamarieyoga.com

I am raising money to open my first sliding-scale yoga & fitness studio. But let's be real,  traditional typically isn't my style, and brick & mortar is expensive... so this first studio will be a truck :)

With this initial seed money, this business  grow to be a self-sustaining yoga & fitness movement that offers empowered classes to anyone regardless of their financial situation with a  'pay what you can' pricing model for those in need.

The funds I raise from this campaign will help secure a truck, administrative expenses (read: pay the govt), create an open-air fitness studio,and keep the tail-lights on. The success of this campaign will also enable me to offer as many 'pay what you can' opportunities as possible, and truck over to folks who may not have yoga & fitness classes at their fingertips.

This campaign's results will be put to work immediately, as classes will be offered sans-Truck asap.

This project will enable me to bring inclusive, heart-filled, challenge-driven classes to more people who need yoga and fitness in their lives and it will give me a platform to teach more teachers - infinitely expanding my ability to use yoga & fitness as a means to serve others.

I am thankful that my tribe spans multiple states, companies and mats. I couldn't have imagined how many amazing people I would meet and how profoundly my life would change by stepping foot onto a yoga mat 12 years ago. Making this dream a reality is impossible without the support of people who love me and I can't tell you how amazing I will feel when I can invite the world to the grand opening.
