The main (voluntary) Athens warehouse that has and does support thousands of refugees since the beginning has no food left and no funds.
Next week’s distribution is being covered by a Spanish NGO now the warehouse is in this emergency measure.
I have been speaking with Negia Milian this morning who runs Pampiraiki Support Initiative the warehouse that distributes to the refugees in Athens who are in squats and other makeshift places.
We need to raise €1500 to cover food for the week after until some solution is found (or what people start starving to death after all the trauma they’ve already been through?)
