Help Atascadero Soccer Allstars

Donation protected

   It all started off signing up our boys for AYSO recreational league last August.  And now, we sit on the cusp of making it to the Nationals! Atascadero boys soccer continues to make history and defy all odds. With such great success also comes great cost and expense. In fact the cost and expenses associated with continued play may be just as hard as the actual opponents these boys will face on their journey.  We humbly ask the community to help support these talented group of boys as they embark on something truly special.  Any and all donation/sponsorships go directly to these boys and their costs they incur for traveling and playing. This is the first Atascadero & Central Coast team to advance this far in this division in AYSO history!!

   Atascadero Boys u12 Allstar team continues on its historic run.  After Dominating local teams (Paso Robles to Santa Ynez) and even some club teams in early season play, the boys advanced to the sectional playoffs held in Bakersfield February 25-26th. These playoffs were the culmination of 70 cities (some with multiple allstar teams), and over 1500 allstar players being represented. The top 16 teams featured in these playoffs battled it out, with Atascadero hoisting the crown and getting the chance to move on and represent California at the Western States Championships held in Carson City, Nevada later this month.

   Atascadero will be going up against 3 other states, Nevada, Oregon,  and Washington. The winner of this 4 team playoff will then move on to the National AYSO games.

   Thanks again everyone for all you do to help the youth and enrich their lives!

Some of the expenses we will incur;

-$100-$200 a night hotel lodging  x15 rooms 2 nights
($6000)
-$200 in gas for round trip drive to Carson City per family (charter bus for the 7 hour drive out of state quoted at $6500
($3000-$6500)
-$40-$50 food allowance a day x 2.5 days x 15 boys
(breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks)
($1500)
That is just the necessities of food/travel/housing. There are also basic equipment needs such as replacement cleats for a few of the boys who are on their last thread. We are a recreation team not a club team and have come so far. These expenses for travel are not part of our AYSO budget and are unanticipated costs for many of our families who did not have such a big trip factored into their family budget (or their allotted time off of work :). We're working on pooling our resources to get as many teammates into cars and hotel rooms as possible but would love any support you can offer. And last but not least would love to bring along as many family members and fans as possible to help cheer on their boys. Anything left over would go to the boys continued play or Nationals if we advance past this stage :)
