ATAG Fire Support Campaign

ATAG has been helping artisans in Ghana for decades. I have been working closely with them during the past year, having spent a great deal of time in their offices adn with their staff.  On Friday, December 23 as the ATAG staff was getting ready to go home for the holidays there was a gas explosion behind the ATAG office and the building erupted into flames and was completely destroyed! The entire staff who were present were wounded, some more severely than others, but all are still in hospital at the time of this writing.  Director, Bridget Kyerematen-Darko, was seriously wounded and is in the intensive care unit, we are awaiting more news. Bridget has been at the helm of Aid to Artisans Ghana for decades and we all prey for her speedy recovery.  The injured include Godwin, Diana, other staff and interns. 

We are seeking funds to assist the wounded with medical and emergency expenses and also for support for the instituion of ATAG. 

We would appreciate donations as soon as possible.  We will keep you updated on everyone's progress.
