Lucy's Space Camp Visit

Hi guys!!
My name is Lucy, I'm 16 years old and I am Australian. I have always had an interest in the space and the universe around us. That interest has grown into a passion of physics, space, science, rockets and the earth around us.

Living in rural Australia, makes it extremely difficult for me to access all the resources I need to be able to step closer to my goals each day.

I have goals of becomming an Aerospace Engineer and hopefully an astronaut. Currently, I am in grade 10 at high school, and I am busting to get out and start working towards my goals. I have started small on my journey to reaching my goals by reaching out to almost 45,000 people every day on my Instagram account (@ReachingIntoSpace). Everyday I try to inspire people about spaceflight and the wonders of it, and it makes me happy to know people are learning something every day.

I have had the dream of seeing a live rocket launch and attending Space Camp, in Huntsville Alabama, for years now. It would mean the world to me, to be able to do these things and find out a little more about where I am heading in the future, and gain experience and knowledge to bring home to inspire others!
 
Now to the important stuff... Why I am raising money.
I am raising money so I can do these things: 
- See a rocket launch on the Space Coast
- Attend Space Camp
- Travel costs to America

How the money will be used:
- $3,000 on flights (including a guardian)
- $1,000 for Space Camp
- $500 for launch and Kennedy Space Center
-$1,500 for accommodation, food and ammenties etc..

Any funds or donation would bring me closer to my dreams and goals. Your donation will help me in ways unimaginable. I will gain opportunites and experiences like no other, and it will help me realise and step forth with courage into my next few years of hard work and dedication, during seinor study. To have this opportunity of seeing a launch and attending Space Camp will help me move into my next phase of study and learning more smoothly and confidently. I will be forever gratefull and appreciative of your donation.
