Ashley Taylor Medical Fund

We are asking for your support and prayers for (my cousin) our dear friend, Ashley Hayden. Ashley was given the words just this past May that no young mother wants to hear- CANCER has spread all over your body and the prognosis is not good. Shock has spread through our small community and as we continue to pray for a miracle, we also want to step in to ease the pain for Ashley’s beautiful family, her husband Jason and beloved son, Donovan. Ashley has spent her life giving to her friends and family, always there to celebrate your success with you or offer encouragement and wisdom if you are down. No one loves life the way Ashley does, she is fun and vibrant and always taking care of everyone around her. When she started to feel the symptoms these past few months, she diligently went in for every test and x-ray imaginable, knowing in the back of her mind that she lost her mother at a very young age to illness. It wasn’t until she finally was in so much pain that she checked into the ER on Memorial Day weekend and was told: Pancreatic Cancer spread to her liver and tethered throughout her body.
Many of us have been hurt by the evil that is cancer, and we have so much faith that Ashley will be one of its toughest opponents yet. Please help us to help her out, and to ease her pain in what little way we can so that she can use all of her energy to stay with us. Ashley is a working mom and her son has a very bright future ahead. While her church and family has stepped up to help with meals and household duties, and her friends have stepped up to fill in for her at work, it takes a small army to fill in for a mom when she is down. Ashley’s medical bills climb every day and she has been unable to work since undergoing chemotherapy. Her doctors have since decided to forgo treatment, so at this point a miracle is what we are praying for. Every little bit helps, so give whatever you can. God Bless. (Written by Shelly Barclay)
