Ashleigh's Recovery

On Friday, September 7th Ashleigh was involved in a very serious accident on their way home. Thankfully, the safety features in Ashleigh's car worked like they were supposed to and the injuries they sustained weren't serious. Unfortunately, the car was totaled, and although it was fully insured with gap coverage they won't get the final word from the insurance company before the end of the month at least. Ashleigh's injuries, while not debilitating, make it difficult to move around while they heal, so they won't be able to return to work as a tattoo apprentice right away which is their only income source. In addition, they will probably have to make this month's car and insurance payment while the claim is being processed. Their vehicle excise tax was also due this month and the town is unwilling to grant an exemption. 

This fund will be to provide Ashleigh with the money they need to make necessary payments while they're out of work, and to help with a down payment/insurance on a new car once we get the claim processed. This will also go towards any medical expenses MassHealth decides not to cover.  A lot of people are crunched for money lately, so its okay if you can't give anything, or can only give a little. Sharing and getting the word out will be just as effective.
