Thank you so much for visiting this page!  You are reading this right now because of love and inspiration all having to do with one very special woman, Ashlee Terwilliger.  This past week Ashlee underwent a double lung transplant because she has Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that attacks the lungs, filling them with mucus which causes infections and, overtime, damages the lung tissues making it nearly impossible to breathe on your own.  Ashlee has spent her entire adult life taking 5 breathes for our every 1 and now she has new lungs.  This is fantastic!  The reason you are reading this is because as great as this is, there is a road to recovery she and her family must travel.  Ashlee must live within 5 minutes from the University of Pennsylvania Hospital for a year while undergoing rehab.  This is 2 hours away from her home so she and her family are going to have to rent a place to stay.  When you add that up with medical bills and travel, it gives us a great opportunity to lessen the cost.  While you can’t put a price on health, I’m asking that we come together and raise money for Ashlee so she and her family can strictly focus on her rehab and not have to worry for a second about any kind of financial burden.  If you know Ashlee and her husband Jimmy, you know they don’t want it.   Donate anyway!  Please get this message to as many people as you can.  Give what you can.  Ashlee’s road to enjoying fresh air starts now and we can help.  Thank you for your support and contribution for this very special lady.

I want to thank everyone one last time for their efforts in making this happen for this wonderful woman. You have raised $43,440.00 for Ashlee and her family. That is truly remarkable and I think we can all agree that it could not have gone to a better person or better cause. And by the way, she is doing GREAT! How quickly she is recovering is unprecedented for someone who has gone through this procedure, but let me ask you, does that really surprise you? The next time you are having a tough day and you need to garner the strength for a little perseverance, just think of Ashlee and what she has overcome. It truly gives you perspective on what "hard" really is and that in the end, if you have your health and your family, what don't you have?

Thanks again everyone!

Hello everyone. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ashlee this past week and she sounded great! What's great about her rehab is that she and her husband Jimmy are staying in their own place where they can enjoy one another and have privacy which was our goal from the beginning. Ashlee has come so far in 3 weeks and I know that all of your support has helped her along in this process. Thank you all again and keep spreading the positive word!

Hello everyone. Ashlee has been working her butt off with rehab and it has been paying off. Today Ashlee can begin outpatient rehab....she can leave the hospital! Two weeks ago she was functioning on sub 10% lung function. This turn of events is truly amazing and a testament to her wonderful doctors, nurses, and family but most importantly, her hard work and determination. We could not be happier for Ashlee and her family!

This amazing community of people has raised over $40,000.00 for their cause. I know I'm not alone when I say I'm so proud to be a part of it, no matter how you know the family or came to make a donation. If not one more donation comes in, I'd say we have done a great job of supporting Ashlee and her family during this time BUT.....Warriors don't quit (just ask Ashlee) so let's keep spreading the inspiration. There are more people we can get this message to and once they see what a fighter Ashlee is they, like all of us, will be compelled to help. We are so close to our goal. We've raised 80% in just 9 days. Let's get to $50,000.00!

Thank you all for your support!

Thank you everyone!

This message is from Jimmy, Ashlee's husband.

"I am very blessed there's no denying that. Thank you all for your help. Keep sending everybody the positive vibes from our end, you all would be proud of what our girl is doing."

Ashlee is doing so well that she is now going to take over control of this account. This is fantastic! But let's not stop spreading the message. Let's do our absolute best to reach our goal of $50,000.00. We are so close.

We cannot thank you enough for all of your fantastic support for Ashlee and her family.
