It is with great sadness that I share the news that our dear sister, mother, wife, daughter, colleague, neighbour and my personal friend Ashana Charles has passed away unexpectedly. Complications in hospital have brought us the news that she has lost her battle with TB. It is uncertain why at this stage Ashana is gone, so I would kindly ask that the family be given some space to work through the what and whys.
Ashana is survived by two children, and a husband, whom could do with the knowledge that we are there to support them at this extremely difficult time. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, their children and literally hundreds of extended family members and friends she has made across the world with her open and loving personality.
Your support in prayers, practical help and financial help towards the funeral costs would be a huge help and an opportunity for us all to demonstrate how she touched our lives.
Ashana's mother has asked me to set up this funding page for those who wish to donate something to her funeral. Any amount would be a blessing to the family as they hope to celebrate Ashana's life to the fullest extent. Understandably, at 42 Ashana had not planned for her passing, so every little will help. all money raised will go to the family.
