Ash's Skydive for CRPS-UK

Tax deductible
I'm from Auto-Mech Cheddar Ltd, and we have been raising awareness to customers & funds for CRPS-UK through events and donations. We are also a main sponsor of CRPS-UK. See their site here:  crps-uk.org  On a personal note from me, my mum suffers from CRPS and I said to her that I will do anything to raise money, she said like what jump out of a plane? I said yes, yes I will mum. I'll do that for you and help raise that awareness that CRPS needs. So here I am counting down the days til I take the jump in June 2019. So help me raise awareness to CRPS-UK.  See her story at:  Story part 1  CRPS & how it effects me  Story continued  More About CRPS below: CRPS UK is a patient led charity focused on helping people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) to live the best lives they can. CRPS, is a debilitating and disabling neurological disorder causing chronic pain; it can affect all areas of the body but most commonly occurs in the limbs following a minor injury (such as a sprain or broken bone), minor surgery, or can appear spontaneously without known cause. CRPS is believed to be result of dysfunction in the central and peripheral nervous systems, resulting in changes associated with sensory, motor, autonomic, skin and bone abnormalities: + Feeling of burning/freezing sensation. + Hypersensitivity of the skin. + Changes in skin colour and temperature. + Changes in hair/nail growth. + Swelling an stiffness in affected limbs. + Motor dysfunction/disability CRPS is poorly understood and people often fail to receive information and treatment they need, affecting a person/s ability to work and putting a strain on relationships with family and friends. It is therefore, not uncommon for patients to require psychological intervention and support to deal with the particularly distressing nature of the condition. This must change and CRPS-UK is doing vital work to bring this about.  CRPS may go into remission but for a small percentage of people, it causes lifelong pain and disability. CRPS is not a psychological illness. CRPS can strike at any age and affect men, women and children but statistics show it is more common in women. There is no single test for CRPS; it is usually diagnosed by ruling out other conditions. Patients must meet the signs and symptoms in the Budapest Criteria for a diagnosis to be made. CRPS is difficult to treat but physiotherapy and pain medications are used to reduce symptoms. Very little is known and understood about CRPS and currently there is no cure! So please help me raise as much as we can to help raise awareness, and if you can't donate, Please spread the word about CRPS. Thank you Ash Jones
