Arctic expedition for diabetes UK

On the 5th of January 2020, myself and ten others from Bishop Auckland Rugby Club have been given the opportunity to go on a week long expedition to the arctic circle in aid of diabetes Uk. During the expedition, we will be taking part in activities such as: a snowmobile safari, skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing and sleeping in an igloo.
we have chosen this charity as one of our team members was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the beginning of 2017. Our aim is to raise awareness of the illness and vital funds in the research into diabetes.
we will endeavour to update you on our progress with photos and other fundraising activities as we progress.
