Arthur’s Vet Bills

Donation protected
My 6 year old English Bull Terrier named Arthur is very sick.  I picked up Arthur when he was 10 weeks old and immediately had a connection with him that I have never had with another dog.  When he was 4 months old he was diagnosed with a heart condition called sub aortic stenosis.  He could never walk more than a mile before getting extremely exhausted.  In December of 2012 I suffered a stroke and Arthur was by my side during good times and bad during my recovery giving me unconditional love and never failed to put a smile on my face and just make living better.  He has been extremely sick for almost 3 weeks.  Initially we thought it was back pain because he didn’t want to play.  Anyone that know Arthur knows that he has ocd with his ball or kong and is never without it.  We play all day long.  Loading the dishwasher, taking a shower, doing laundry etc.  he is there giving me his ball to play.  This week after 2 weeks of different anti inflammatory meds from the vet I took it upon myself to take a urine sample which was brown.  The vet tested it and took blood tests.  Monday he is having ultrasounds to determine if it’s his liver or something else.  He is not well and I feel like the sparkle in his eye is dimming more every day.

I am a very proud person and wouldn’t ask for financial help unless I was desperate.  We need help with the vet bills which are rising every day.  If surgery is an option I can’t even imagine the costs.  I have to do right by him and try everything to try to get him well.  Please help if you can.  No amount is too small.  If you choose a donation can be sent to Ringwood Animal Hospital with my name and Arthur’s name in a note.  Thank you so much.
