Aron Gould's Medical Expenses

Our 47 year old son, Aron, suffered a major heart attack on Friday afternoon, May 5th, 2017.
He and his wife (Chelsea) and their three boys live in Elko, Nevada, which is about 250 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Elko E.R. doctors worked to open his upper aorta which was almost 100% blocked, and during this time, Aron’s heart stopped and was restarted three times. Over the following twelve hours the doctors implanted seven stents, and then stabilized him for transportation.
The University Hospital Medical Center of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City dispatched an aircraft and an onboard cardiology team to Elko, and transported Aron to their Cardiology Center. Chelsea drove the 250 miles the following morning to be with Aron. The University’s hospital is a teaching hospital, and considered to be one of the best in the inter-mountain west.
In the 6+ days which have followed, Aron has experienced ups and downs in his stay. The doctors believe they presently have him stabilized, but they expect that he will be hospitalized in the cardiology unit for at least 7 to 10 more days.
While his condition has slightly improved, Aron is not “out of the woods” he still seriously ill. The doctors say there is much more to be done in the way of medical procedures (operations, etc.).
Except for the 500 mile round trip she made to Elko in the past 24 hours Chelsea has been with Aron practically the entire time.
This “campaign” is to raise funds for medical deductibles and billings, and for Chelsea’s transportation between Elko and Salt Lake City, her meals and lodging.
Any donation you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated, since parents and friends have already offered as much support as possible.
