*UPDATE: We are extending the application deadline to 5/15/19 and the finalist Cookoff event will take place on Friday 7/12/19. We have opened up the application criteria to include immediate family members!
The Women’s Food Truck Organization is proud to offer a scholarship opportunity to a member of United States Armed Forces (active, reserve, retired) who has the desire to pursue culinary education and advance their career in the food industry. Immediate family of service members are now eligible to apply. Immediate family members include: spouse, children, parent, sibling.

Applicant must intend to enroll or already be enrolled in a college/university/culinary academy/etc. with the desire for a degree in culinary arts or to pursue a business degree to start your own food business, i.e. restaurant, food truck, etc, or some other food focused higher education.
The scholarship amount will be a minimum of $2500. Final amount to be determined and announced at our Armed Forces Culinary Cookoff on Friday, 7/12/19!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY:
To apply for consideration, you must complete the online application and submit by the deadline of May 15, 2019 at 11:59pm CST.

Application must include uploaded supporting documentation: DD214 and two letters of recommendation. All complete applications will be reviewed by a scholarship panel and a decision for FOUR finalists will be made by May 31, 2019.
