Armani Healing Heart

Donation protected
Most know this young man as Armani Vannoy. We are so proud to call him grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, son,and friend. He is a senior at AL Brown High School in Kannapolis NC. Much of his goals are similar to other high school seniors. First to graduate, attend college and persue a  goal personally set by his life experiences.  At a very young age he encountered the healing grace of nurses and doctors of a transplant team which gave him a new heart at the age  of eight years old. Armani has throughout his life been dealing with every aspect keeping that heart healthy, he shows it from his compassion and care for those around him and his love for life. In the  past two to three years he's had some pretty severe medical issues. He is now struggling once again to bring his heart back to a healthy state. Since November, Armani has been up at Duke twice for  biopsies and other testing to be sure that his heart is responding to new treatment.  Last week he had began having chest pain again and it was deemed a heart attack after local ER visit  and was  immediately flown to Duke Medical. Today Armani was given a  heart catheterization and another biopsy to make sure that his heart is still viable. We are praying that it will rebound as it has before but also understand it will take some time and financial stress is long and difficult.
Armani says this journey has been difficult in so many ways but it has also  made him driven strongly to become a nurse anesthetist. For a long time Armani prefered not to share his diagnosis with everyone because he didn't want those around him to feel sorry for him.  It was this year, on his 10th aniversary of receiving his  heart that Armani chose to embrase it and deliver a presentation for his senior project, on Cardiomyopathy and his journey.
We all plan and are excited to see him succeed in his goal and are emploring your prayers and help during these next few months.

His parents have been traveling daily to be able to work and be with their son during this journey, as well as with their 3 other sons at home.
Armani had also worked up til November at a local seafood restaurant, Peir 51 and always enjoyed being a part of community both at work and school.  Although he wanted to play football and basketball his medical condition wouldn't allow it, he did get a chance to compete on the tennis  during his Junior year and would have this year if his cardiomyopathy hadn't worsened.

Please consider any help you can in supporting this family,  prayers are always welcomed and conforting. They are truly trying to keep things as normal as possible and all proceeds will go to bills, for travel, and medical..
Thank you and God Bless.WE LOVE YOU ARMANI!!!!!
