The Harvest for Humanity team has identified deserving women in Haiti to receive the first ever Women In Technology Educational Scholarships. These donations will provide them with the opportunity to reach their dreams.

Big Goal: To become a lawyer so she can help the most vulnerable, and to build an orphanage
Big Obstacle: A lack of money for realizing her dream of attending law school
What Armanda Needs: A scholarship, to continue the education she needs to become a community leader
Armanda has shown great drive and tenacity in pursuing her dreams. She is living with her mom, grandmother and older brother and often doesn’t have the opportunity to stay in school consistently. I am hoping that through this sponsorship she is able to have a more consistent education path so that she can fulfill her dream of becoming a lawyer and supporting the community in which she lives. When someone says “nothing will stop me from pursuing my goals”, even in the difficult situation she is in, I want to ensure she keeps that vision.

The CRA recognizes and will accept the receipt for tax purposes; it may also be accepted by your country, subject to its tax and revenue laws.
