Only God knows why this would happen to our little Princess Ariella.

20 weeks into my pregnancy the doctors found 2 defects on Little Ariella, one was not as concerning as the other. Her right kidney was a little lower than the Left one, and the more severe one was her Heart disease called Pulmonary atresia.

30 weeks and my blood pressure had gone up, I than got sent downtown Texas Children’s Hospital, I was than diagnosed with preeclampsia which is Highblood pressure at pregnancy. Without knowing Little Ariella was soon to be here with mommy and daddy.

06/25/18 Ariella Mae Almaguer was born at 10:52am 2lbs 7oz and 14 1/2 inches
Being born almost 2 months early she was Rushed to the NICU. Dad was by her side the whole time, she was stable, crying, and doing baby things

As time went on we visited every day, or stayed at the Ronald McDonald House
Mommy or Daddy was always by her side. I would carry her and she would just not move a muscle knowing her time was limited with her parents.

Everything was unexpected, the doctors never told us anything about preparing our selfs Incase she wouldn’t make it. She was gaining weight moving, pooping, she would grab our finger and move our whole hand. She was very strong for being a premature baby, the nurses where impressed, to the point they had to wrap her tight because she would pull on her IV or her wires.

07/13/18 Friday the 13th officially one of the most saddest, confusing, emotional days of our lives! Ariella got blood work done twice and she got spinal fluid checks also for any bacteria or signs of infections. All the test would come back negative for any bacteria, infections, or abnormalities. This day was going so good especially since it was her first time opening her eyes and looking around, all was good signs to us. But around 8pm her Heart rate dropped, all the nurses rushed to her trying to see if maybe she pulled her breathing tube, they adjusted and checked but nothing picked her back up. B pod was then closed to any other parents visiting, they started to do cpr, chest compressions and even medicine to pick her Heart rate up but nothing.

She passesd away at 3 weeks old, from a massive heart attack, I’ve never asked for anything in my life but this one Time I ask why would this happen to our little princess, if everything was going so good.

As unexpected as this was for both of us we managed to pay for the funeral, but we have ran out of resources for the memorial....so if anybody can help with anything if not please share share share.
