Arie Lipsky Family Medical Fund

Arie Lipsky is beloved as a musician, conductor, cellist, flutist, mentor, husband, and father.
Last November 2018, Arie suffered from a cervical pinched nerve. The situation deteriorated into several medical problems which made him unable to conduct and perform. During the last eight months, he continued to suffer a medical crisis which included two hospitalizations. He resigned from the Ann Arbor Symphony, and was not able to teach at the Chautauqua Institution this summer.
The situation is traumatic for him and his family.
Arie is currently receiving care in Arizona. Although Arie’s situation has not been good during the past few weeks, we still hope and pray that he will improve and make a full recovery.

The medical expenses of the past year and the anticipated expenses are enormous:
$10,000 in hospital bills
$5,000 in travels for Arie, family lodging, car rental, etc.
$25,000 in-residence stay in Arizona medical center
$10,000 in rehabilitation
The family would appreciate very much the support of anyone and everyone who loves Arie during this difficult time.
