Aric's Asthma Treatment Fund
Summary: My Asthma is worsening at a life-threatening rate and I cannot afford preventative care or treatment. Any contribution of any amount, any social media share, could help improve or even save my life.
Hello. My name's Aric, a Niceville local, tech geek, and avid gamer. I am putting together this fundraiser because my Asthma is starting to get out of control, and I can no longer afford the necessary medications and treatment to be able to keep it at bay. Over the past several years my symptoms have been getting worse. It's getting to the point where my at-home nebulizer and rescue inhaler just aren't cutting it anymore, resulting an unfortunate amount of ER visits.
The emergency room is not a suitable substitute for preventative care with Asthma. Between exposure to radiation from imaging, and the expense of ER visits in general, and the inability of ER doctors to monitor symptoms long term, the downsides are starting to add up. Without being able to see a specialist or afford preventitive medication, my symptoms so severe that I can no longer hold a job.
Any donations, from a penny and up, are greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go towards treatment, medication, and environment changes meant to improve my symptoms enough that I can get back to work and start getting fit again.
