Dakota Curling is sending a women's team to Arena Nationals in Philadelphia in May and we need your support!
Travel expenses for this team of five are estimated to be about $4500. So far we've raised $500 through our plant sale and a few hundred dollars through direct donations. Any dollars not raised through fundraising will be born by the players themselves.
It is a great honor to represent our club at Nationals and the club would really like to help offset the personal cost to players. If you can contribute, every little bit helps!

Meet the Players
Skip Darcy Ellarby is one of the founding members of Dakota Curling and has been playing this sport for 15 years. She previously skipped our women's team that earned a gold medal at Arena Nationals in 2013!
Vice Sandra McMakin is a new member of our club but has over 40 years experience curling in both Canada and the US. Sandra is a Level III Instructor and a Level IV Coach (pending). She’s also the chair of USA Curling Instruction.
Second Leslie Adair is in her third season curling at Dakota and is excited to be playing on the Arena National team this year.
Lead Lisa Nowak played two years in our Instructional League and has just finished up her first full year playing in our open leagues.
Our fifth player, Trish Elliott is a second year curler with Dakota Curling. She has also been a very active volunteer and served on our Pirate Spiel committee her very first year in the club.
