27 lutego 2018 moj najlepszy przyjaciel Arkadiusz Kiciak odebral sobie zycie. Zarowno ja jak i czlonkowie rodziny oraz przyjaciele czujemy ogromna pustke, ktorej nikt ani nic nigdy nie bedzie w stanie wypelnic. Arek byl wspanialym czlowiekiem. Nigdy nie poznalem bardziej troskliwiej i bezinteresownej osoby. Czesto mawial "Z ust bym sobie odjal i tobie dal" co w najlepszy sposob opisuje jaka wspaniala byl istota. Dobro innych zawsze liczylo sie dla niego bardziej niz jego wlasne. Nieopisana przyjemnosc sprawialo mu wywolywanie usmiechu na twarzy innych, poprzez slowa jak i gesty. Niejednorkotnie widzialem na jego twarzy lzy szczescia, ktore nie dotyczyly jego samego a wlasnie innych. Byl niezwykle wrazliwy i kochal oddanie wszystkich swoich bliskich. Z bolem serca przychodzi mi pisac, ze niesamowicie sie pogubil w ostatnim czasie i podjal decyzje by odejsc. Przez ostatnie ponad 3 lata Arek mieszkal w Anglii z czego wieksza czesc czasu zamieszkiwal Liverpool. Koszty transportu zwlok/prochow jak i cala procedura zwiazana z pogrzebem to kolosalne koszty, ktorych rodzina i przyjaciele niestety nie sa w stanie pokryc. Przez ostatnie lata Arek wspieral takze finansowo swoja ukochana mame Dorote, ktora pomimo posiadanej pracy nie jest w stanie sie sama utrzymac. Zwracam sie do wszystkich z goraca prozba o wplacanie jakichkolwiek kwot, co pozwoli nam na sprowadznie Arka do jego rodzinnego miasta Elblag a takze na pomoc finansowa jego mamie. Co prawda nie zrekompensuje jej to utraty syna aczkolwiek pozwoli przetrwac najblizsze miesiace bez dodatkowych zmartwien dotyczacych zapewnienia sobie bytu.
Sytuacja jest o tyle pilna, iz cialo/prochy Arka musza zostac jak najszybciej przetransportowane do Polski co jest niestety niezalezne od nas.
Miejsce Arka jest tam gdzie jego dom i matka dlatego dolozymy wszelkich staran aby tak wlasnie sie stalo.
Arek byl nie tylko nieodlaczna czescia swojej biologicznej rodziny ale takze mojej, jego najlepszego przyjaciela. Stal sie dla nas bratem oraz synem i mimo jego braku nic nigdy tego nie zmieni.

On 27 february 2018 my dearest best friend Arkadiusz Kiciak has taken his life. Me, all the family members and friends are feeling extremely lost, nothing can fill in this emptiness now. Arek was an amazing person. I have never met anyone who would be more caring and not expecting nothing in return. He used to say "I would have taken it out of my mouth so you could have it instead of me", which is the best way to describe what a wonderful person he was. Needs of others were always more important than his own. Bringing smile onto people faces through his words and actions, was an indescribable pleasure for him. Often enough I saw him breaking in tears of happiness, in situations that were not related to him but to other people. He was very empathetic and loved people devoted to him. It is massively hard for me to say, that he got extremely lost recently and decided to leave us. For the past three years Arek was living in England from which most of the time he spent in Liverpool. Costs of transporting the body/ashes as well as the whole procedure regarding the funeral are huge, his family and friends are not able to cover it all. For the past years, Arek was also financialy supporting his mother, who despite her work is not able to pay for living. I am kindly asking you all to donate any amounts, which will help to get Arek back to his hometown Elblag, and also will provide a financial support for his mother. It obviously won't recompense her sons loss, although will help her to get through the following months without any additional worries regarding everyday life.
Situation is urgent, as Arek's body/ashes have to be transported to Poland as soon as possible which unfortunately is something that does not depend on us.
His place is at home close to his mother, that is why we will do everything to make it happen.
Arek not only was an inseparable part of his own biological family, but also mine - his bestfriend's. He became a brother and a son to us and nothing will change this even though he is not with us anymore.
