Ardent appeal to help Kiran Konka's family

Donation protected
At the relatively young age of 38, Kiran Konka, an enterprising software professional met an untimely end on the 14th of June 2019. An Indian aspiring to settle down in the USA, he was living the American dream when fate cruelly decreed otherwise. Hale and hearty just three days earlier, he was suddenly afflicted with high fever on the 12th of June and his pulse rapidly deteriorated in hours. In the city of Hyderabad, India at the time, when he was admitted in emergency on the 12th of June, he was diagnosed with sepsis resulting in septic shock/ cardiogenic shock . He was diagnosed with several problems including a low respiratory rate, low blood pressure (hypotension), metabolic acidosis, kidney disease, and diabetes with high blood sugar. At 50/80, his BP was very low even with ionotrope support and was moved to ventilator support. Due to the multiple organs affected, his body succumbed within a couple of days and he passed away on the 14th of June.

Kiran leaves behind a grief-stricken family of, a home-maker spouse, a dependent mother and three children, (the youngest offspring being only 9 months old). The only child to his parents, and with his mother widowed when Kiran was only 15, it was steely determination to give his mother and children the best of what the world has to offer that saw him work diligently and earnestly to climb up the ranks. He was a dependable employee at Tech Mahindra, a reputed Indian IT Services organization, and had a successful track record in Oracle ERP based solution delivery.

Due to the sudden demise, his near and dear are visibly staggered at the gravity of the grim future that awaits his family, especially his three young kids. Cruel fate has decreed that Kiran’s kids have to undergo the same hardship of no breadwinner in the family at a young age, the same fate as Kiran’s.

At this hour of grief, his family needs more than our prayers to lessen the burden of the family. Anyone who knew the affable and outgoing Kiran would wish for no less than the best for his children, who are barely in their pre-teens.

At work, as a solution architect, Kiran habitually integrated those around him and harnessed the best of resources to solve a customer problem. This is a plea for pooling our resources to provide solutions to the problems his premature demise has caused for his family.
