Archer Amorosi

The Minnetonka High School, Lacrosse, and Football communities are devastated by the tragic loss of our dear friend, Archer Amorosi. He was our teammate, loving friend and brother whether on or off the field. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire Amorosi family and all of those who knew him best.

Described by his closest friends and teammates as a truly genuine and authentic individual, Archer had so very many gifts. His incredibly quick wit and sense of humor brought people together, making them laugh and feel welcome. His smile could light up an entire room. He was a charming young man that gave the best bear hugs around - especially to all of the Mom’s!

Archer was quick to volunteer to help out whenever he could, loved playing with all of his friends’ younger siblings, and was quick to snuggle up to his favorite four legged friends. Typically one of the first to compliment his friends on a job well done, his kind heart made sure to include everyone, congratulating his friends and peers on their performance.

With this great heartbreak, the community would like to provide ongoing support for the Amorosi family while they focus on their loss and begin to heal from this tragedy.  We ask for your continued prayers and if possible, your financial support. Funds collected will be distributed directly to the Amorosi’s to ease their financial burden and/or to support a charity of their choice in remembrance of Archer.

Archer was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Kara, Don and the entire Amorosi family, may you feel the love and outpouring of support we are here to provide. Keeping all of you in our prayers.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18.

"Archer was the most genuine person I have ever met. The amount of people he touched throughout the years is unimaginable and everyone knew him. He was a super friendly guy that everyone felt like they could be themselves around at all times. I always remember him sticking up for people that were less able to stick up for themselves. He was an all around amazing person that put a smile on everyone’s face that he touched. Forever my brother."  Tommy Gibney

“Archer was always loyal and was always there for his friends.”   Ben Gleason

“Archer was one of the most genuine kids I knew. He was always there and always wanted to help others. He was the ultimate competitor and friend. He had a massive heart and always knew how to put it to good use. He was caring, supportive, and pushed everyone he knew to be better not only on the field, but off of it as well. I’m truly grateful to have had him in my life and will miss him. Peace to you, Hollywood.”  Owen Gunderson

“Archer made the biggest and most positive impact on my life. He always knew how to make someone feel better, whether he knew them well or not at all. He was the most kind, caring, energetic and funny person. He always put others before himself and went the extra mile to make people feel welcomed and included. His impact on the community will live on through Minnetonka and everyone who he loved and touched.”  Alexa Tiziani

Archer Amorosi has one of the best hearts out there. There no one else like him. Almost everyday I could see the kind, caring, generous, funny and energetic kid he was. He was one of the most athletic and elite competitor I have ever seen. His passion and drive for everything in life was unlike anything ever. He was an incredibly special young man.  - Luke Tollefson

Archer was an incredible kid and made an immediate impact on the lives of so many when he moved to Minnetonka many years ago.   Archer was an  awesome athlete, very competitive, and always so fun to be around.   His spirit and Hollywood good looks will be missed by all of us.  Zach and Carson Weinzetl

Jaxen Iverson and Ben Tolkinen were fellow football players that got to know Archer .  We were a year younger but Archer treated us like brothers and welcomed us into the Tonka football family .  Archer cared about us learning plays and growth as players .

Jaxen and Ben shared that Archer was a selfless player that always pulled everyone up and together regardless of their grade or skill level .  Our group of sophomore boys shared that Archer was a great leader, a caring teacher and that he showed kindness on and off the field to anyone that was lucky enough to have known him ..!   Jaxen and Ben were not long term close friends but as younger classmen in football they have shared that they were so lucky to have known such an outstanding young man , on and off the field .. he was clearly a bright star that touched all whom he came in contact.  Jaxen Iverson and Ben Tolkinen (Sophomores) & their parents
