Arbor Heights house fire fund

Donation protected
At around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 8th, the Crosby's Arbor Height's family home caught on fire, killing a woman and leaving the elderly homeowner without her home. All belongings including her purse, cell phone, clothing, treasured family items, and beloved cat, Roggie, were lost. Mrs. Crosby lived there for almost 40 years.

Red Cross volunteers did respond to this tragic fire Wednesday morning, providing assistance for three people to help meet immediate needs. However, the long term affects of this devestating event will take time and help from our community to mend.

Marijo is a grandmother of 3 and a soon to be great-grandmother. She regularly spends time with her 2 grandchildren, Brandy and Brittany who live in the area and love keeping her company. She enjoys gardening and has a feirce passion for writing. Marijo had been writing a book for the last 20 years, all of her work was lost in the fire.

Mrs. Crosby is currently staying at a local hotel, but will need all of the help she can get to get her life back to normal. Marijo has truly lost everything, and any donations would be immensely appreciated.

If you wish to help in any other types of services, please email Brandy at [email redacted].
