Tattoo Memorial for fallen brother.

Donation protected

Hello everyone.
I hate to do it this way, but this seems to be the only way I can manage this in any kind of realistic time.

Let me start off by saying that this is not for vanity puposes.

My little brother Dakota Pyatte enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when was 17, and nearly as soon as he graduated, off to boot camp he went.
It's what he had always wanted when he was a kid. He knew with certainty that he would join the military, and as he became a teenager, set his heart on joining the USMC.

He would later do a 7 month tour in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
He came home, and for over a year, we got to enjoy his wonderful company.

December 30th of this last year, we lost him to his demons.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of him.
It's surrealistic. It's like a dream you just never wake from.
As I'm writing, it feels nearly impossible that it's been over 6 months already.

I really didn't want to do it this way, but every time I seem to have the funds available, something in life comes up, and I have to scrap my plans.

Our oldest brother, Jason, had someone draw up a tattoo idea that we had put together.
It seemed fitting to me that Marines have a saying "Til Valhalla", and that we use the Valknut, which was the symbol Odin would use for fallen warriors.
We then have the inside filled with the American flag.
I'll post at the end of this a photo of our proposed idea.

The whole idea for this is me simply reaching out, and asking for help to fulfil this so I can honor my brother just a little more.

I know this may play off as the sympathy card, and I surely don't mean it to come off that way. This is just something that I would really like to have done in his name, and honor.

Any little bit counts, and every penny will go towards this tattoo, regardless if I make goal, exceed it, or fall short.

To anyone who even reads this, regardless of donating or not, God bless.
