Appeal For Breast Cancer Stricken Tabitha Siwayi

Dear donors and well wishers , I hope I find you well. In videos and images is 37 year old Tabitha Siwayi who was diagnosed with breast cancer about 2 years ago.

After Tabitha's brother in South Africa, Last Siwayi contacted me for assistance on 25/11/2019, I Violet Makunike urgently made arrangements to visit Tabitha. On 26/11/2019 I sacrificed to travel about 600kms to Gokwe and met Tabitha and her family, having seen a disturbing image and video of Tabitha's condition that her brother had shared.After arriving at the homestead shattered we were welcomed by the family and Tabitha. Tabitha gave me permission to take photos and videos of her condition as attached and assist her to seek medical help.


Tabitha Siwayi was born on 02/11/1982 and she is a mother of two girls Melin aged 7 years and Miriam aged 5 years. Miriam remained with her father in Mozambique after Tabitha separated from him following her illness. Tabitha said her husband has desserted her and she has no income to support herself. Tabitha was born in a family of 11 and 4 of her family members are deceased.

Tabitha's 77 year old mother is the one who is taking care of her.Her mother is very thankful and she gave me a live chicken...cock ( road runner) in appreciation of the love and kindness shown to her ailing daughter.

*History*

Tabitha said she started to feel like a small 'pimple' in her breast while she was in Mozambique in October 2016 and the itchy pimple continued to develop into a painfu lump. Tabitha said at first she thought she could have put on a bra that was probably infected by lavae. The other breast was affected too and both breasts are very painful and itchy. Tabitha said she most of the time sleeps while sitting on the sofa as she feels pain if she lies down on her breasts.Her legs are swollen and she walks slowly.

Tabitha said while in Zimbabwe she has not gone to see a medical due to lack of money but she has been seeking the assistance of traditional healers and prophets to no avail. Watery stuff oozes from her left breast .

MONEY RAISED

Money raised from this appeal will be used to

- Pay for chemotherapy, radiation
- Pay for surgery
- Pay for medication and other medical costs and needs
- Pay for transport
- Volunteer allowances
- Raising awareness about breast cancer
- Assisting other Zimbabwean women in need of breast cancer medical care
- Any other associated expenses

WITHDRAWAL

The money raised  will be withdrawn by Makazvita Ishe. It will also be disbursed to  Mr Carrage and Violet Makunike  and the beneficiary and her brother Zireva to meet related costs . It will be sent to the beneficiaries through Mukuru money transfer, western union or cassava and directly to  their ecocash accounts as well. The funds will also be used to buy them necessities  if we can and to meet related costs as required . Violet Makunike will also receive from the campaign funds through world remit  and to her econet ecocash mobile number  Zimbabwe [phone redacted] which she will disburse directly to the beneficiaries ecocash accounts and in cash to them.
