Riley's Medical Expenses

Let me introduce myself. My name is Dana, and my daughter is Riley's girlfriend. I am also good friends with his family, trying to help them. Riley is in 11th grade. He is a member of the national honor society, on the cross country team, an honor student, and a member of the college mentoring program. Since October 9, 2017 Riley has not been feeling well.(headaches,nausea,throwing up) His mom has taken him to lots of doctor appointments, changed medications, tried a gluten free diet, had a brain MRI, cat scans, and numerous other tests. Still no solution. The next step is to go see a Neurologist at the Boston childrens hospital. Unfortunately his mom's insurance doesn't cover going to Boston. There will be a $1000.00 facility fee, and 750.0 just to see the doctor. She has already spent over $2000.00 on test, procedures, doctor visits, and medications.We love this kid and just want to help his family, and see him get better.
