It has been 14 months since Doug suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and anoxic brain injury. In the year since he was released after a quadruple bypass surgery and a 70 day hospital stay, Doug has made great strides. He spent 3 months outpatient at Kessler Rehab and the last 6 months at Bancroft NeuroHealth. During this time his wife Tiffanie has spent endless hours researching different therapies and now has found an amazing opportunity in Asheville, NC at the Apex Brain Center. Functional Neurologist Dr. Michael Trayford has reviewed Doug’s case and believes he is an excellent candidate for specialized Neuro Rehab. Doug would receive two weeks of intensive rehab that includes neuro feedback, interactive metronome therapy, laser therapy, and individualized testing to pinpoint exactly what Doug’s brain needs to thrive.
Unfortunately the costs that are attached to this amazing opportunity is tremendous given the last 14 months. Doug is permanently disabled and is receiving social security. Tiffanie has returned to work full time as a teacher to keep the family going. Not only is there the cost of the therapy, but Doug and Tiff would also need to pay for food, gas, and lodging for two weeks. Any amount you can find in your heart will help Doug on his path to recovery.
The 10 day program is most optimal. Testing will be completed on the first day, then there will be 3 sessions/day throughout the program, M-F. There will also be retesting in certain areas at the end of the program. Everything is included in the price:
