Antioch High Family Affected by ICE
Donation protected
At the beginning of July, the father of one of our Antioch High School families was stopped by ICE on his way to work. He is currently detained and awaiting a hearing. Since he is detained, he is completely cut off from his business, and can no longer run it. Without his income, the family is experiencing a severe financial crisis, not to mention an enormous amount of stress. This is a family of 5 - the oldest sibling is in her 4th year of university, and the two youngest are high school students. Both the mother and the father are hardworking people who are raising their family in our community. Our goal is to do everything we can to prevent the children from having to leave school to support the family. The oldest sibling was an AP student at Antioch High and is currently working her way through college and receiving excellent grades in a double major. Students like her are the future of our community, state, and country. Anything you can contribute would be a great help!
