Hello, my name is Giovanna and I am writing this with my husband. We have one daughter, Jianna, and one son, 2 1/2-year-old Anthony Scafide, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the end of April 2017.
He is undergoing Chemotherapy at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, and has already had 15 spinal taps, 3 bone marrow biopsies, and 3 blood transfusions. He is very weak right now with all of the Chemotherapy being done, it is very hard to watch our sweet little boy suffering, surely this is the worst feeling in the world. He will be undergoing Chemotherapy for 3 years.
We are asking for prayers and donations to assist with his medical needs. Anthony is a strong boy, together we will beat this cancer. We will keep everyone updated on Anthony's journey. We cannot possibly thank those enough, who have offered prayers or financial donations.
