Help us to raise the funds needed to continue to provide our SHS students with the Music Programs they desire and deserve!
The SHS Music Boosters shall promote, encourage, and strive to improve the music curriculum and support the music students, their families and the music faculty of the Sidney City Schools by: Promoting adequate staffing and budget allocations within the Sidney City Schools system in order to develop and maintain a superior music curriculum.
- Contributing financial assistance to those middle school and high school music organizations which otherwise could not exist in a viable form. Cooperating with the school board, the school administration, and the music faculty of the Sidney City Schools. Building and maintaining a level of continued meaningful activity to reach these objectives
We raise money to support our music department at Sidney City Schools! The spaghetti dinner and auction is one example of how we join together in support of our wonderful SHS students. The auction is our largest combined fundraiser of the year in support of our band, choir and orchestra programs.
Because of the success of this event, and the fact that we love to have FUN while doing it.....an added bonus this year at the auction.....if our goal of $2000 is reached, you will enjoy a LIVE performance from our very own Directors. The Director Debut will take place November 4th at the American Legion for your viewing and listening pleasure! You won't want to miss this opportunity to see those that lead and teach our students, show us what they do BEST!
This is where you come in! Your donation will not only enable us to raise the necessary funds to purchase needed equipment, repair and maintenance of instruments, uniforms, and more! Additionally, because of your continued support, we have been able to award $10,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors for the past several years...and we want to continue doing so!
We couldn't do what we do without you! Our SHS Music supporters including a whole host of volunteers, help make our programs what they are today!
