Annie the Golden Retriever

Donation protected

On January 1st around 2 pm Annie and our other dog Zoe were attacked by our neighbors dogs (their breed is not even worth mentioning). They some how jumped the fence to our property and attacked Annie and Zoe. Both were rushed to a 24 hour emergency vet clinic in Monterey ( about a 20-30 minute drive from Salinas) since our regular vet clinic was closed because of the holiday. Zoe had minor injuries and was sent home a few hours after. She’s doing great and her bill was some what “manageable”.

But Annie didn’t run with the same luck. She was terribly injured

She had so but so many bites all over her body (vet said at least 15) and a very very deep one in her tail. The one in her tail was so bad that the veterinarian had to do an emergency surgery and amputate it . She’s currently at the vet clinic and will be staying there for at least two more days. She’s getting fluids and antibiotics but I’m very hopeful she’s going to be okay because she’s a tough cookie. As much as I hate to ask for help, I feel like i don’t have another option. Our current bill as of right now is around $4,500 and that can increase if they run into any complications. We need your help!

We will do anything in our power to get Annie comfortable and back to “normal”. If you can’t donate, please help us by sharing this post and sending Positive vibes.

Thank You all so much for your time.

will be doing update on their Instagram account @annieandbrissa_thegoldens
