ANNIE LAMBS OPERATION

Annie Lamb came into care a few weeks ago.  She presented with a high temperature, a sore leg and was flyblown on and under her tail.  She was very weak and it was obvious she was in pain. After numerous vet visits and courses of antibiotics Annie's tail area is still causing her problems. The band used to make her tail fall off was put on too high and she now has bone protruding as well as infection. The first operation Annie needs is to fix this issue.  Following this first surgery she will require another operation as she also has a dislocated hip. Because this is an old injury it cannot simply be popped back into place. This particular surgery will need to be performed by a specialist team. We will update exactly what is required as we get more information from the specialists.

She lives her young life enthusiastically and never complains despite her obvious discomfort. It is our goal to see her grow into a healthy and happy sheep. At just 3 months of age she has already been through so much.
