Annes heartfelt wish for 2019

Hello to all. I am Anne Sawyer.October 8th I was hospitalized for an infection in my ❤️ heart called endocarditis. As a result I had a stroke, blood clots on my brain, a bleeding spleen , sepsis and an abscess around the heart. On October 9th I was treated with large amounts of antibiotics and taken in for open heart surgery on October 15th to remove the infection and to replace my aortic valve,during the surgery I bled out and had to receive a blood transfusion Due to complications I was taken in exactly one week later for a pericardial window and an additional lung tube, during this surgery I now started experiencing A- Fib . My first hospital stay was the entirety of October. I was immediately transferred to a nursing home facility to recover,hopefully and get antibiotics around 10 times a day. December 7th I was to be released after losing my job, stability and almost my life. However, I now found out that instead of going to cardiac rehab, my infection resides and I now have a intermediate mitral valve leak and an aneurysm on the wall behind the valve. As a result, I will need another open heart surgery. I am unable to work, provide transportation and life has been very uncomfortable. I am very blessed to have a network of people for comfort . My reality is that in order to live I need money. I have three kids that have been humbled and realize the true meaning of Christmas. I hope you can too,
