Annashaheb Khulape Memorial

Annashaheb Khulape (age 37), also known as Amit or Anna (translates to elder brother), passed away in Pune, India last Saturday after battling Cancer of B-cells, a.k.a. DLBL (Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma) from past year and a half. His last rituals were carried out at his home town of Ghardi, Sangola on 20-Jan-2019.
Anna, known to his friends and colleagues as down-to-earth, simple living and always with his signature smile was fighting with tumor in his stomach and was admitted to hospital for many consecutive months last year. He is survived by 2 small kids (Mrudung – 9-year-old boy and Mista- 2.5-year-old girl) and Wife (Yogita Khulape). His father is retired and stays in his home town of Gheri. Treatments and hospital stays from past year have already incurred a debt on family for around 30,00000 INR (40K USD), on top Anna had existing mortgage for his apartment in Pune. He was the sole earner in his family and now with him gone family needs all the support out there.

Greetings everyone and thanks for your donations and expressions of sympathy thus far. My name is Anthony Spina and I was blessed to have met and worked with Anna beginning in 2011. My friend Yusuf Kapadia (one of Anna's great friends) has been in touch with the family members and will be wiring the funds collected directly to Anna's wife, Yogita.
As we were all in shock at his untimely passing we quickly recognized the needs of his family and rushed to set up this page for them. We know that Anna would do the same for us. Please give if you can. Please share the link as well. Thanks!

We have been in touch with Anna’s wife, Yogita Khulape, and she whole heartedly appreciates and sends a big thank you to everyone who contributed and prayed for the family.
We have initiated the transfer of collected funds up till now ($2930) over to her India bank account. We will update here in next few days, once she receives the amount.
The GoFundMe page is still up, so feel free to contribute and share the link as much as you can. We will continue to transfer any further money collected every 15 days from now.
