Prayers for Anna

Adrianna is a true warrior. The battles she has already fought through her 13 years of life don’t compare though to what she is going through now.
On October 24,2019 she had a intra ventricular baclofen pump placed. She had this done to give her a better quality of life. It was an amazing 2 weeks for her. She was sitting up with limited support and was in no pain.
On November 30, 2019 things took a drastic turn. She became non responsive and heart rate was through the roof. She was transported to Mary Washington hospital. They got her stable and transported her to VCU.
After 3 days of fighting with the doctors to do a CT of her head, they finally listened after Anna spiked a fever of 104.
They found a massive infection from surgery and a lot of fluid on her brain. She was taken into emergency surgery.
Since then Anna has had two additional brain surgeries. The last one being December 12,2019. During this surgery there were a few complications. Anna had a brain bleed.
We are hoping the blood will be reabsorbed in her body. However, this means that the infection can only be treated by a hopeful antibiotic. This infection is resistant to antibiotics though. This is not likely to kill the infection. Now it’s a waiting game to see if Anna can pull through this.
Due to this, Her mom has not been able to work. Anna will be in ICU for a long time. Anna has two little sisters as well. We are asking our community for help for this family in need.
The commute to the hospital is over an hour one way. They don’t have means to cover their bills. During the holiday season it’s even harder emotionally. We are asking the community for help for this family in need. Anything helps. Please pray for Anna.
