Anna's Emergency Rent/Vet Fund

Circumstances have changed - for the worse, not the better. I lost my beloved Tiko (the sweet orange boy on the left in the photo) to sudden health issues and am left with an $800 vet bill that I can’t possibly afford at this point in time. Anything raised goes straight into Tiko’s memorial fund to help cover his vet bills and the cost of his cremation - and, if on the slight chance any money is raised beyond my goal I’ll donate it to the local animal shelter to help with their babies, especially now that it’s kitten seasons and there are so many mouths to feed. Again, all I can offer is gratitude, but I’ll pay it forward the best I can with the work I do at the local animal shelter.

I swore up, down, and sideways that I'd never do this, but I'm currently in a mess that I can't see a way out of. I've had some serious health issues, ones that've made it impossible for me to do my job safely - and as a result, I've missed a ton of work and can't get benefits to help me out. I've budgeted and re-budgeted and scraped together every cent I have, but when it comes down to it I'm $600 short on my rent no matter what I do. I'm afraid that the cats and I will be evicted if I can't come up with the money before the middle of the month - and to be honest, I'm more afraid for them than for me.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel - those health issues are starting to resolve - but I just need, somehow, to get through this month.

I can't offer you much more than gratitude, but I hope you'll consider helping me. I may not be able to pay it back, but I can pay it forward - I work with animal welfare charities/shelters, donating time and photography skills on a regular basis. If you ever want to see proof of that I'm absolutely willing to provide it.
