Surgery for Moose

Meet Moose. He is a 6 month old puppy I found abandoned. It was love at first sight for all of us!

This baby hasn't had the best start in life, but we are trying to change all that. The poor guy was limping and covered in ticks when I picked him up from the side of the road.  After a visit to the vet, X-rays revealed he has a broken femur neck and a scan showed no microchip.   Dr Wilkins determined that he needs orthopedic surgery (an artificial joint) to make sure his life is pain free.  At 6 months old, that would mean a world of difference between a good life and a tolerable one.
