Anitia's Farewell Fund

Anitia Cecilia Pierden lived in Kansas City with her loving husband Dean and her puppy Chubby.
On a Friday afternoon, on 9/22, she was driving with her life-long friends to what was supposed to be a great girlfriends' weekend. Another driver jumped the median of I-70 and hit Anitia's car head on.
Anitia passed away instantly at the age of 35.
Dean and Chubby are now facing the difficult task of providing Anitia the service and burial she would have wanted -- which includes transporting her remains to Alabama, where the family on her mother's side lives.
In addition, as an optimistic couple full of plans and dreams, Anitia and Dean had projects and financial obligations that need to be taken care of, such as a mortgage payments and healthcare bills.
I am asking each and everyone of you see it in you heart to help this loving family in the toughest of times. In the days ahead, there will be many things to think about and figure out, but the burden of finances shouldn't have to be an issue this family faces as they grieve.

My name is Heather Lee Dennehy. I am A. Dean Pierden's younger sister and Anitia Pierden, the deceased, was my sister-in-law.
2. Where you're from
I was raised with my brother in West Brookfield, Massachusetts. I'm currently living in Atlanta, GA.
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for
Again, I'm raising funds for my brother, A. Dean Pierden as he mourns the loss of his wife, my sister-in-law.
4. How the funds will be used (be specific as possible)
The funds will be used to cover the financial burden Dean is facing. This includes:
A. Costs charged by the funeral home
B. A funeral service, to be held this Friday in Kansas City, Missouri. (Her father is active at St. Therese Catholic Church)
C. A nondenominational memorial service to be held this Sunday in Kansas City Missouri.
D. Transport to Eufala, Alabama, a service there and her burial. (Her mother's family is from Eufala).
E. Ensuring Dean has the funds to make the payments on their mortgage to stay in his current home for the immediate future.
F. Paying off expenses, such as credit card debt and medical bills, that were under Anitia's name.
5. If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf
Updates (9/29) Due to problems with the settings on go fund me with the bank account, I just wanted to clarify that the funds are going to be deposited into my bank account and then I will directly transfer the entire amount immediately and directly to Dean.
