If you are reading this then you know that our friend, Anita Verlangen, was fighting for her life in May-June 2019. Tom, Neve and Suraya, along with the wonderful staff of the Royal University Hospital, have been taking excellent care of her but now the financial impact of this medical issue is upon them.
Anita will need all of her energy to recover and will not be able to work in the near future. This campaign is simply to help them with some of the basics that their family will need to cover some of the expenses that they will encounter this summer. There are plans for a fundraiser in the fall so this is merely to help reduce some of their immediate financial stressors over the summer. In this sense, the need is urgent.
