Animal Rescue Urgent New Site Fund

£160 of £100,000 goal

Raised by 6 people in 18 months

Broken Souls Animal Rescue (based across the West Midlands but working throughout the UK) needs a new premises urgently.
We attempted to set up a small site in Warwickshire but our planning permission failed and the process to rent and develop is complicated. So now our only hope is to buy a property. Recently an ideal property became available at £675k which would require a down payment of around £250k (hence our target). This property and many like it could be developed to become a self sustained premises providing education and experience opportunities as well as increasing our rescue capabilites by TEN TIMES.

We are a NO KILL rescue that concentrates on dogs in county pounds across the UK facing being put to sleep on Dog Death-row once their 8 days are up... the clock is ticking and we recieve upto 50 pleas asking for help every day! Our cats and other dogs and animals come from other rescue, veterinary centre, social services and private referrals.

We take on senior and medically complex animals that other larger rescues will not even consider as "adoptable". We also take behaviorally challenged animals and are dedicated to rehabiliation. We have no limit on breed specifics and admit those who are most in need without discrimination. We run a strict neutering and microchipping policy and have a Rescue Back Up for Life scheme meaning all our animals can be returned to us oppose to being sent to other shelter or pounds should there be a problem with an adoption later on.

We are desperately seeking donations small and large to help us achieve our target to own a premises where we can house, rehabilitate and rehome 100's of animals in need from across the UK. in 18 months we have saved over 200 lives through a small collective of voluntary foster homes, but we know we can do SO much more if we just had the space. Be it £1 or £1000, your donation makes a huge difference to our goal.

Companies, corporations or large benefactors are welcome to visit our website and contact us directly for more information on our rescue and business plan or to generously provide larger donations. www.broken-souls-rescue.org/philanthropy.html

We have raised a measley 1% of our target as we have been horrendously busy dealing with emergency rescues, veterinary visits and campaigning for new fosters and staff members...
But now we are focusing on fundraising to acquire a premises. We need it. Running a rescue without our own small kennel site is near impossible. We work across the entire UK and if every dog owner (and there are 12 million in the UK) donated £1 we could be well on our way to rescuing 100's of dogs from deathrow....

Please donate.
2nd year in a row we have been nominated
