Dear Friends & Family ~
Rusty and I are Super Excited for our Special Day!! In addition to a celebration of our union, we hope to share in a celebration of family and friends, both old and new, coming together for a wonderful evening in the North Georgia Mountains.
Rather than a traditional registry, we have decided to set-up this account, for those who elect to offer a gift, to contribute to a our honeymoon fund. We decided to do this for a few reasons: 1) We're in our mid-40s! We have all of the traditional household items we need. Although a new toaster would be great, we don't NEED a new one! 2) We are focusing most of our resources on the wedding, a little help on the honeymoon would be greatly appreciated! 3) Rusty has done very little traveling and has never been out of the country. We hope this to be the most amazing experience for us both! Our goal with our honeymoon is to take the opportunity to share a very special time together before we head back into our busy schedules of every-day life.
For our honeymoon we plan to travel to Secrets Maroma Beach Resort & Spa, in Mexico for 4 days of adventure and relaxation. All money donated will go to the funding of this trip to include hotel, airfare, food and activities. Here is the breakdown:
Airfare per person: $367
Room & Resort fees: $2365
Upgrade to the Honeymoon Package: $900
Tours: $200
Any available money after our honeymoon will go towards finishing our basement, finally!!!
