Angelina's Medical Expenses

Angelina, an international student at The Master’s University, was involved in a serious car accident on December 15th. 

Angelina suffered over half-dozen fractures in her pelvis, multiple broken ribs, a liver laceration, and severe cuts on her head and face requiring staples and stitches. Angelina was in coma for four days in ICU, and she is currently awaiting surgery.
 
Many unknowns about Angelina’s condition remain, but it is certain that the healing process will be lengthy and expensive.

While the insurance is covering a significant part of the medical costs, Angelina’s family still faces serious financial needs. Angelina’s parents have already accrued heavy expenses in their travels from Israel to Los Angeles and in their daily expenses in Los Angeles. Now, as Angelina’s parents arrange an extended stay in Los Angeles to be with Angelina as she undergoes full medical treatment, they expect the expenses to rise into the thousands of dollars in housing, food, travel, and additional medical costs that will not be covered by the insurance.
