Angel ... Run Free Beautiful.

This ray of sunshine is Angel. Every person that met Angel fell deeply in love with her. From her super excited butt wiggles to her super sneaky wet puppy breathed kisses.  Angel was so much more then a dog.  She was a furry daughter, a clingy sister and a man's best friend. She was defiantly put on this earth to make everyone's life brighter. We were lucky enough to spoil her rotten for 8 years.

A few months ago this beautiful girl started to get sick. Vet appointment after vet appointment nothing was figured out. Blood work , x-rays and follow-ups led to no explanation. She was getting sick every morning but was back to normal the rest of the day. We were told to treat it as acid reflex. We noticed her face drooping. She had developed idiopathic facial paralysis. No cause and is common in boxers. Spent months making home made dog food and everything seemed to have cleared up 100%. She went 2.5 months without a single sick day and her face was as beautiful as ever. Things quickly changed. June 13th... she started to not feel good again. She couldn't keep barely any food down. We called the vet that following Monday and brought her in on an emergency visit. We had hope she could over come this also. Angel spent 3 days at the vet on Iv meds. The vet did blood work and informed us Angels liver panels were high. Our girl had liver disease. Wait! What?? How did this happen?? We were shocked. We visited her daily so she knew that we were not leaving her behind. Told her how much she is loved and missed. We hoped and prayed that we would have good news the following Wednesday morning. We had hope and stayed positive as much as we could thinking we were bringing her home on Wednesday. Love and Prayers poured out threw Facebook. Wednesday morning we called and got the worst news we could have imagined. Angels levels were worse. Our sweet girl was not going to pull threw this time. Her little body was tired. We went and got our sweet girl and spent some time with her just to show her how much she means to us. In the few hours we had her we could tell in her eyes she was ready to be free. We didn't want to give up on her and give her a fighting chance but she just couldn't fight any longer. We had to free her of pain and discomfort. We had to let our girl run free .... She knew. She had tears in her eyes the whole way back to the animal hospital. All we did was tell her how much we loved her and how good she was. She didn't really show any interest in what we were saying until we told her she was going to go see Grammy. (Her Grammy passed away a few years ago and she would always run to the window looking for her in the mornings when she would hear a vehicle.) On 6-20-18 we all held and loved Angel as she crossed over the rainbow bridge. We told her we will see her again and to chase all the kitties she could find up there. We know she is in good hands and being taken care of until we can cross that same bridge and be with her again. Our hearts are completely and utterly broken!

This page is made for and in honor of Angel. This page is made because I want to help relieve my parents of some of the stress of Angels final bills and cremation cost. What ever is donated beyond is going to be donated to help someone else in the same position. We want Angels spirit to live on and keep helping others even tho she isn't here in person.
