Here is Harlow’s birth story
For years I have wanted to attend a couple of Angel mother retreats to have some peace in my heart for the grief I carry daily after my daughter was stillborn April 2nd 2012, but they have been too far away. Just the other day I found out that in October of this year there will be a 4 day Angel Mommy retreat in Tiverton RI, only two hours away from where I live. The thought of being able to share this deep connection with others that share in this sisterhood of grief is overwhelmingly beautiful to my soul. I could have never gotten to where I am today without the support of friends and family, but especially not without the support of those who truly understand my “new normal”. Due to recent events this is not the best financial time to register for a retreat (registration starts April 5th), but it was suggested to me that maybe others may want to help make this happen in Harlow’s memory during the next couple of days as we celebrate her Angelversary & Birthday. If you are so inclined to do so, please know that I am incredibly Thankful for whatever you may want to help with from the very bottom of my broken heart. It means more than you will ever know.
Healing will never end, but my hopes are that these days spent with other Angel Mommas will fill my soul with gratitude, more healing, and peace.
