Andy's fight against Cancer

******* It is with a very heavy heart I am writing this latest update for Andy. As many of you know, the Moffitt Team has given him the devastating news .."There's nothing more we can do." Andy's cancer was persistent, aggressive and has taken over his body. Andy will transition the same way he lived, living each moment to the fullest, grateful for what he has been given. I am writing this plea for help on behalf of our dear friends Patti and Andy Kundrat. March 2018 nothing could have prepared Andy for the moment the doctors sat him down and gave him the diagnosis of Stage IV Colorectal Cancer. He was referred to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa Fl. The Moffitt team came up with a hopeful plan of action. Andy has gone through 5 weeks of Chemo when he was hit with more news. The doctors informed him the chemo was not working, his cancer is aggressive and is growing. He was also diagnosed with a Fistula. Within the next 2 weeks Andy will be undergoing surgery to repair the Fistula. After surgery is complete Radiation will start 5 days a week. The doctors can not remove his prostate, bladder or rectum until the cancer shrinks.  Andys fight is far from over. His strength of character, spirited personality and positive attitude is an inspiration for us all. Fighting cancer is a full time job and it was never in the budget. The last thing this family needs to be worrying about right now is making ends meet. We are sharing this personal story with you as we are reaching out to all of Andys friends and whose hearts this story has touched.
