As a lot of you unfortunately know... Andy was diagnosed with late stage ll, early stage lll, Upper Stomach Cancer. It has not metastasized from what they can see and It is too large to remove at this point. We are going after this cancer hard. We are starving it of sugar, which it needs in order to survive and grow. We have cleaned up his diet-focussing on eating a lot of fresh and organic vegies and some fruits, as well as organic meats. We are using anti cancer and anti metastatic agents in his treatment protocol and we are keeping a close watch on it's growth via imaging.
Now to the hard and uncomfortable part.... We Need Your Help!! As I'm sure a lot of you can imagine, Cancer Treatment is EXPENSIVE and it seems, that a lot of it is not covered by insurance...
We really need to raise funds for treatment, travel for treatment, his new diet(which is crazy expensive) doctors appointments(which are not all covered by insurance) and some cushion to help with daily life, until we can get a handle on this thing. I have been putting work mainly on hold, for over 3 weeks now, so i can help more when he's sick or struggling. I think one of the harder parts about this specific cancer is how incredibly sick it makes him daily and how much pain he's in throughout every day. I have to be honest, sometimes it's unbearable to watch him suffer like this...My heart breaks for him. When you love someone this much, you don't ever want to see them suffer or be in this kind of pain...
We chose $10,000 as our goal, because to be honest, we have no idea how much this is going to cost long term. Basic numbers for early treatment range in the low thousands. Then you have everything else....
Like I said in our fb post.... If we don't seem ourselves or were not present lately, please be patient with us. If we aren't on time or the most reliable right now, don't take it personal. And please, please, please pray for us, pray for him. Andy needs all of the support he can get right now. He needs love and encouragement around him! We have spent our entire lives taking care of others, people and animals. Now we need to step down a minute and be taken care of.... To whomever you pray to, please pray for us. If you are able to donate, please, please do! We need all the positive thoughts, vibes, help and energy that can be sent. We MUST get this amazing man and father better. His family needs him!♡♡♡♡
