Andrew Furr - Help me fight cancer! I want to live

My name is Andrew Furr. I am 32 years old and from a small town in North Carolina. We have two kids, a 9 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. I have always been a hard worker and a major portion provider for our family. With the recent news I have been taken out of work hurting our family financially. Just a few short months ago, I was given some pretty horrible news. I went in for what seemed to be a routine blockage in my colon. What was supposed to be a routine procedure, turned into a full blown surgery, an ileostomy, and a chemotherapy port to be placed. When I woke from anesthesia, I was told that I had stage IV colon cancer and given a 14% chance of survival after 5 years.
Before this diagnosis I did carpentry work and was always active. I took the kids to play at the park, baseball, skateboarding, anything to be outdoors. How my life was about to change.... I never would have imagined.
The funds we are trying to raise will be used for a secondary treatment. My oncologists said that I would need to do chemotherapy twice a month indefinitely. This outlook is not something that sits well with me. I did one round of chemotherapy and never felt worse. I literally thought I was dying. Which lead me to do research on an alternative treatment plan.
Money will be used for:
$4,900 a week for three weeks
$2000 Housing for a month out of state
$750 flights
$2000 for food and unexpected expenses.
We set the goal at $25,000, and after the treatment any money left over, we are donating to a charity of our choice. Charity will be decided later. I want nothing extra, just to live and to see my kids grow up.
Please help me now. I just want to live, and be the strong, loving, provider for my kids and wife. I'm not ready to give up, and I hope that you guys will find it in your hearts to give. I've never been in the position where I needed to be helped, and it's a hard thing to ask for. So I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and kindly asking, " Please help me and my family, we are in dire need of financial assistance. What is a life worth?"
