Andrew Adams' Kidney Surgery

Andrew Adams is experiencing a medical crisis in China. Four years ago he was in a snowboarding accident that shattered his right kidney. Over the past few months, he started experiencing pain & other symptoms over that right kidney. He finally saw a doctor who started running some tests and this week they found a large, rapidly growing mass growing out of that kidney, larger than an orange and in danger of rupturing, which would cause massive internal bleeding. The doctors have admitted him to the hospital & will operate on Monday. They believe that this mass is a benign cyst, but won’t know for sure until it is removed & biopsied.
Andrew has been working in China for over four years now. He lives a very simple life, teaching English in a Chinese university and supplementing his income with tutoring jobs. His love for sharing the Gospel and the Chinese people has led him to make his life and home in Wuhan, China. While he had a small amount of money in savings, most everything he earns he puts back into his ministry work. He has never sought financial support for his ministry, and other than occasional contributions from a church, he is totally self-supported. The university is not paying for his medical care. He must pay for all of it out-of-pocket. The hospital demanded the equivalent of USD $10,000 upfront for his hospital stay.
We kwow the power of prayer. You’ve helped us pray him through a coma after his car accident five years ago, and then through his snowboarding accident when he nearly bled to death. This kid doesn’t do anything by half-measures. He lives life to the fullest, using his life and what God has done for him to minister to others. Thank you for your prayers and support.
